(4) Spend at least five minutes after the class sitting and taking in the energy you have cultivated. (5) If you have technological issues, please contact Pat Weber as I won't be able to answer these questions during the class.

Update from the Town on COVID- 19

How Can I Help or Get Help

The board of directors of the Qualicum Beach Seniors Activity Centre has received numerous offers from our members and their families to assist during the covid19 crisis.
Rather than setting up an independent data base to cross reference the volunteers with those persons who need assistance, the executive has reviewed the process currently being implemented by Beacon Buddies, a volunteer-run community service that matches people currently in voluntary self-isolation/quarantine with a neighbour who can help out with occasional basic out-of-home errands. Beacon Buddies was set up by The Nanaimo Beacon, an online satire news web site in Nanaimo, that suspended their satire site to help the Central Vancouver Island Communities when the covid19 crisis started.
The executive are of the opinion that the use of an existing service to match volunteers with those in need is a prudent and efficient method of achieving the goal to provide assistance to our membership.
If you would like to volunteer to assist or require assistance, please register on line through the attached link.
